Mildred Elley has been part of the Albany community since 1917, and we’ve grown a lot since then. What started as a secretarial school evolved over the decades into a fully accredited career college, adding healthcare programs that now serve as the heart of what we do. In 2010, we expanded to New York City, bringing our approach to hands-on, career-focused education to one of the world’s most competitive job markets.
Today, Mildred Elley College is institutionally accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and approved by the New York State Board of Regents and the New York State Education Department to offer degree and certificate programs. That accreditation isn’t just a credential; it’s a reflection of the standards we hold ourselves to every day.
Our Campuses
Mildred Elley College serves students across New York, with a flagship campus in Albany, a Manhattan campus in the heart of New York City, and an extension site in Amsterdam, NY for students west of the Capital Region. Online programs in Business Management and Paralegal Studies are also available for those who need a fully remote option.
