Network Administration and Computer Security Certificate
The Network Administration and Computer Security certificate program provides training and instruction in network administration, computer repair, and end user support. Among the primary functions of a Network Administration and Computer Security Technician are support of computer networks, network troubleshooting, repairing computer hardware, loading and upgrading system and application software, supporting computer peripherals, and providing user support.
Network Administration and Computer Security students will receive broad instruction so that the skills can be applicable to a variety of situations and allow for growth and specialization within their chosen field. Additionally, this Network Administration and Computer Security program prepares students to take several Microsoft certification examinations that collectively lead to certifications as a Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA®), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS®), and CompTIA® A+.
Mildred Elley is an advanced level Microsoft IT Academy member, and uses Microsoft-approved materials, textbooks and software for many of its courses that support preparation for these credentials
