| We
are seeking faculty members to join us as we continue development of our
Certificate and Associate’s Degree programs in 3D Animation and Game
Design. Positions are available for both full-time and part-time faculty
members to teach day and evening classes. Full-time faculty members are
also expected to contribute to program development and student recruitment
and placement activities. Courses to be taught include: 3D Modeling and
Animation (Maya), Principles and History of Animation, Principles and History
of Game Design and Play Experience, Storytelling/Storyboarding, Editing
and Compositing, Drawing for Digital Media, History of Art, History of Film,
and others.
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field is required; Master’s degree or equivalent is preferred. Professional certifications and industry experience are desirable, as is post-secondary teaching experience. 1+ years of experience in Maya (primary software package used), 3D Max, and other animation/modeling software is required for faculty that teach technical courses.
