Description & Requirements:
Mildred Elley, a private two-year college and equal opportunity employer in the County of Albany, with a branch campus in Pittsfield, MA and a sister school in Albany, NY, is seeking Cosmetology Faculty (Instructors and Assistant Instructors) at the college’s Pittsfield, MA Campus, contingent upon Cosmetology program approval and student enrollments. The program is scheduled to start in 2008.
The following positions are expected to be available:
- Instructors (Part-Time): teach in program’s day and/or evening divisions, enthusiastically sharing with students their knowledge and love of profession. MA Cosmetology/Aesthetics Instructor license (or being licensable with Cosmetology Type 1 license, Aesthetics Type 6 license, or Junior Instructor license) is required. Teaching experience is desired.
- Junior (Assistant) Instructors (Part-Time): assist Instructors and Program Chair in teaching relevant courses. MA Junior Assistant Instructor license (or being licensable with Cosmetology Type 2 license or Aesthetics Type 7 license) is required. Teaching experience is desired.
Compensation:
Varies, based on qualifications and experience.
